I studied Photography and Audiovisual Communication at Escola Artística António Arroio.
In 1991, I graduated from the Photography Center for Art and Visual Communication, Ar.Co.
I work in graphic design, focusing on corporate image. I worked as a graphic designer in different agencies since 1990. Simultaneously, taught photography at Escola Artística António Arroio and Web Design at Company in National Service (CNS); I coordinated and executed graphics and photography for MPD Cabo Verde campaign of 1995; I photographed for several press and online publications.
I live and work in Lisbon.
Recently, I graduated from "web design & interactive" in Lisbon School of Design.

Well-designed logos will never allow an audience to forget the brand.
Sometimes what is the response to the request, just pops into our head. However, this cannot be taken for granted, so I believe in making an active approach to discover it.
In graphic design there are no limits. Looking for inspiration in graphic design is to obvious. In order to create truly successful design, one must find inspiration elsewhere. That's why I make an effort to go further finding the inspiration in photography.
In photography, I have several ongoing projects involving the search for primary forms of image capture, as in the light-gathering process, as in the handling process, or digital. Conceptually, I try using the technique to achieve simplicity, clarity and, precision of ideas.
